Travel
All people wishing to enter Rwanda must possess a valid passport or other internationally recognized travel documents, which, in principle, contains a visa corresponding to his/her purpose of entry into Rwanda obtained in advance from the nearest Rwandan embassy abroad.
U1: Students (who is in Rwanda for study purpose).
Permit issued to a foreigner who is in Rwanda for study purposes.
This permit has the same meaning as a student is in the context of EAST African Community.
REQUIREMENTS FOR A NEW APPLICATION
* Any genuine acceptable travel document valid not less than 6 mouths
* recommendation letter from the school
* Sponsorship letter
* Original police clearance for students above 18 years of age

Permit issued to a foreign student of a recognized institution of higher learning who intend to work during his or her holidays or a foreign student who has just completed studies.

* Detailed curriculum Vitae
* Academic certificate (student who has just completed studies)
* Original police clearance from the country of residence for the previous six months
* Recommendation letter from employer
