Foundations in Accountancy (FIA)

About the program

The ACCA is a rigorous and flexible qualification that kick starts students’ higher education journey at the most relevant level through a range of Foundation level awards made up of certificates and diplomas which provide the ideal starting point for anyone new to accounting and finance.

Entry Qualifications

There is no minimum entry requirements for ACCA FIA. However, for those without prior formal qualifications, we recommend you start at ACCA Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting (RQF Level 2), especially if it’s been a while since you completed any studies.

Duration of Study

Averagely 12 to 18 months.

Aims and Objectives

The ACCA You’ll develop knowledge and understanding of the business and its environment and the influence this has on how organizations are structured and on the role of accounting and other key business functions in contributing to the efficient, effective and ethical management and development of an organization and its people.
