Dr. Daniel Mburamatare

Lecturer, School of Business Management & Economics

Dr. Daniel Mburamatare is a seasoned economist, currently Lecturer at University of Kigali, and accomplished researcher with a diverse background in both academia and professional practice. He obtained his M.Sc. in Economics in 2013 and later pursued a Master in Business Administration (MBA). His academic journey continued with the completion of an ‘Applied Quantitative Economics Preparation for Doctorate (AQEPD)’ program in 2019, culminating in the attainment of his Ph.D. in Energy Economics.

His scholarly contributions are notable, with various research papers already published in esteemed international recognized scientific journals. These publications span areas such as Energy economics, Energy Policy, Energy Demand side Management (DSM), applied econometrics, panel data analysis, and forecasting, showcasing his expertise in quantitative economic analysis. With a robust professional tenure spanning 17 years, Dr. Mburamatare has amassed a wealth of experience, especially with the last seven years in the field of research and education. Dr. Mburamatare is fluent in English, French, and his native language
is Kinyarwanda.
