Phanice Bushuru Ambutsi
CPA, FA Phanice Bushuru Ambutsi is a distinguished leader and academic with over 13 years of teaching and administration experience at prestigious universities, including Riara University, Daystar University, the Presbyterian University of East Africa (PUEA), and the University of Northampton, UK.

She is currently a PhD candidate in Business Administration (Finance) at Daystar University, Kenya. She holds an MBA in Finance from Daystar University and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Eastern Africa Baraton, Kenya.
Phanice’s expertise spans teaching, guiding students in career development, research, entrepreneurship, innovation, commercialisation, and fostering a stimulating learning environment. As a professional lecturer and Research to Commercialization (R2C) Trainer of Trainers (TOT), she effectively delivers lectures aligned with University curricula and industry developments, while nurturing ethical social innovators.

Her impressive track record includes successful project and thesis supervision. Recognized as a subject matter expert in Finance and Accounting by the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board (KASNEB), Phanice is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK), a Certified Investment and Financial Analyst (CIFA), and holds certifications in advanced cybersecurity and artificial intelligence from IBM and the CFA Institute.

Phanice is an active member of professional bodies such as the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and the Institute of Certified Investment Financial Analysts (ICIFA). She also serves on several boards, including the University of Kigali (UOK) and TLAfrica, Inc.

Currently, Phanice is a lecturer at Riara University School of Business and an Institutional Working Group Member in Research, Entrepreneurship, and Commercialization, in collaboration with the Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA).

As an accomplished scholar, Phanice has published books in Accounting, Finance, and Auditing. She has chaired international conference sessions, such as ICED 2024 in Kenya, themed “Advancing Higher Education Ecosystems for Competency Development,” and has spearheaded the review of numerous curricula, including KASNEB professional courses in Accounting and Finance.
