The Induction Week at the University of Kigali /Musanze Campus was successfully conducted on 25/03/2026, marking a significant milestone in welcoming newly admitted students into the academic community. The event brought together key university officials, including the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Academics (DVC-A), the Dean of Students, the Campus Administrator, the Quality Assurance Officer, the Head of the Department’s office, the Finance office, the Registrar’s office, and representatives from the Guild Council.

The program was designed to formally introduce students to university life, academic expectations, and institutional values. Throughout the induction sessions, speakers emphasized the importance of discipline, integrity, and commitment to academic excellence as fundamental pillars for success. Students were encouraged to cultivate good character, actively engage in their studies, and take full responsibility for their personal and academic development.

In addition to academic guidance, the induction provided an opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with university structures, support services, and governance systems. The presence of the Guild Council further highlighted the importance of student leadership and participation in campus activities.

Taken together, the Induction Week was a success, effectively orienting new students to the university environment and equipping them with the knowledge and motivation needed to begin their academic journey with confidence and purpose.
