UoK–Ostrava Exchange Programme Grows: The University of Kigali (UoK), through the School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT), officially extended the Exchange Mobility Programme for both students and staff between the School of Science and Technology at the University of Ostrava and SCIT at the University of Kigali.
As part of this engagement, the University of Ostrava successfully processed and issued acceptance letters to the next batch of students from the University of Kigali, who will travel to the Czech Republic in September to study at Ostrava University for one trimester (4 months) under the exchange programme.
In addition, as the UoK–Ostrava Exchange Programme Grows, the University of Ostrava has agreed to launch another exchange initiative under the VIA Exchange Programme. This new programme targets Bachelor’s and Master’s students in the School of Computing and IT (SCIT) and the School of Business and Economics (SBME). Under this arrangement, students from the University of Ostrava will study at the University of Kigali for one semester, with the first cohort expected to arrive in January next year.
All participating students from the University of Ostrava will be fully funded by their home institution.This growing partnership continues to strengthen international academic collaboration and provides valuable global exposure and learning experiences for students and staff at both institutions.
