The School of Education, in collaboration with the Graduate School, will host a distinguished guest lecture by Dr. Nadia Delanoy, Assistant Professor in Leadership, Policy and Governance (Learning Sciences) at the Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary, and Director of Student Experience. The session will take place on 28th March at 11:00 AM and will bring together research students, undergraduate students interested in research, and faculty members for an engaging academic exchange.
Dr. Delanoy’s work explores leadership and learning in the rapidly evolving era of generative artificial intelligence, focusing on how higher education institutions can cultivate digital and AI literacies that prepare students to be ethical, adaptable, and workforce-ready graduates. Her research builds on doctoral work examining big data and social media analytics to inform agile leadership practices, and she currently leads interdisciplinary initiatives that connect education, business, engineering, and sustainability to advance AI-enhanced teaching and learning.
During this keynote and knowledge-sharing session, Dr. Delanoy will share insights on how universities can navigate the opportunities and challenges presented by generative AI while strengthening research, leadership, and innovation in higher education. The session will also provide a platform for research dialogue, collaboration opportunities, and practical reflections on integrating emerging technologies into academic and professional practice.
Participants will gain valuable perspectives on AI-driven learning environments, ethical digital leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the future of research and workforce readiness in higher education
