The University of Kigali is proud to officially launch the Journal of Financial and Management Sciences (JFMS), a premier academic platform dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and scholarly discourse in the fields of finance, economics, business, and management.
This landmark launch marks a significant step in strengthening UoK’s research ecosystem and amplifying African scholarly contribution to global knowledge production. The JFMS will serve as a hub for cutting-edge research, evidence-based insights, and thought leadership that inform policy, industry practice, and academic development across the continent.
Featuring distinguished speakers, including Dr. Mathias Karangwa, Director of Research at the National Bank of Rwanda (BNR) as the Keynote Speaker, the event will highlight the journal’s mission, editorial focus, and opportunities for scholars, researchers, and industry practitioners to publish and collaborate.
Hosted by Yvonne Ingabire (RBA), the launch reaffirms UoK’s commitment to nurturing a vibrant research culture and positioning Rwanda as a regional centre of excellence in financial and management sciences.
