The Certificate Program in Dyslexia Studies aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of dyslexia and practical strategies for supporting individuals with dyslexia in educational settings. Through a combination of theoretical coursework and hands-on training, participants will learn assessment techniques, multisensory teaching methods, and assistive technology to effectively support individuals with dyslexia.

Assessment

  • Final assessment based on understanding of dyslexia, application of intervention strategies, and evaluation of practicum performance.

Certification

 Upon successful completion of the program and practicum, participants will receive a Certificate in Dyslexia Studies from the University of Kigali’s Center of Inclusive Education.

This program prepares participants to effectively support individuals with dyslexia in educational settings, promoting inclusive practices and equitable access to education for all learners.
