The course imparts knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to prepare financial and management accounts and financial statements for small and medium sized enterprises and computer basic taxes for a business.
Entry Qualifications
Senior six examinations score of 15 points or more or;
Senior six examinations certificate with at least two years relevant work experience or:
Certificates from recognized institutions such as TVET certificate III in accounting (RTQF level 3) or;
Certificate from other recognized professional examination bodies or;
Mature entry route
Ordinary level with atleast three years work experience
More than 7 years of relevant work experience with a proof from a recognized employer for candidates with qualifications different from cited above
Duration of Study
Depends on the number of papers attempted and passed in every examination sitting. Between 1 to 3 years.
Aims and Objectives
The ATD qualification equips candidates with skills and competencies to work as middle level accountants providing technical support in accounting, auditing and taxation in both the public and private sectors.
