The University of Kigali requires prospective undergraduate students to have completed their secondary education with satisfactory grades. Specific requirements may vary depending on the programme of interest. Check the detailed requirements for each programme.
For postgraduate programmes, applicants must hold an undergraduate degree from a recognised institution. The admission process generally includes submitting an application form, academic transcripts, a CV, and a statement of purpose. Specific programmes might have additional requirements such as letters of recommendation or work experience.

We have three intakes in a year – January, May and September. Admissions are open every trimester. You will be offered admission to the next available intake.
No, there is no application fee. A non-refundable admission fee must be paid after you are admitted to UoK.
