Dr. William Nkubito is a full-time Lecturer of Law at University of Kigali since 2023. Dr. Nkubito previously worked as a visiting lecturer at various universities, including the Kigali Independent University (ULK) and the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK). He also held other positions as a legal officer/ Advisor at different institutions, including the Supreme Court of Rwanda and the Rwandan Human Rights Commission.

Dr. Nkubito is a researcher in International Law, specifically international human rights law and migration law.
